Unfortunately, if a book is DRM protected or not is not stated on the amazon book information pages. DRM stands for digital rights management and is a form of curbing piracy. You can still read a kindle ebook on it BUT ONLY IF THE BOOK IS NOT DRM PROTECTED. If you have an ebook which is not a kindle, don’t worry. The ebook will then be delivered here for you to read. Click here and choose name’s kindle for PC (or whichever device you have chosen to install the app on). If you want to read your ebook in your kindle app on any of the aforementioned devices, BEFORE you press ‘buy now with one click’ you will see a drop down menu below the button. This is important as it cannot be changed later (as far as I know). When you buy an ebook from amazon you will have to select the destination you want it delivered to. This should be downloaded onto the device you wish to use to read your ebook, making sure you choose the correct option. If you download the ‘Kindle Reading App’ you can read any kindle book on your PC, mac, tablet or smartphone.
